Project Scope

This project for the Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council was awarded to Gulf Civil through a competitive tender process.

As the successful Tenderer, the works were required to be completed within the monsoonal period due to budgeting and time pressure constraints placed on the Council.

The project required significant planning and logistical understanding by the team in to deliver the project within the timeframe. This involved careful consideration in planning each workflow and specific task at the right time in order to continue with the following scope(s) of works.

The project scope of works includes:

  • Clearing and Grubbing
  • Earthworks (Strip Topsoil, Cut to Fill, Cur to Spoil)
  • Roadworks (Trim Subgrade, Place and Compact Gravels, Subsoil Drainage, Asphalt Surfacing, Line marking)
  • Concrete Works (Driveways, Concrete Kerbs, and Footpaths and Crossover)
  • Landscaping
  • Pavement Design
  • Carpark Construction and Upgrade
  • Tree Lopping
