The 15 Firefly Street project involves the delivery of bulk earthworks and essential civil services to support the Burke Shire Council Staff Housing development in Burketown. The works include site preparation, earthworks, and the installation of new water and sewer infrastructure with live connections to existing Council assets.
The project is delivered in accordance with approved for construction drawings prepared by Northlane Consulting and is designed to ensure compliant, serviceable, and construction-ready allotments. The scope requires careful coordination with existing services, adherence to Council standards, and execution within a remote regional environment.
The project scope of works includes the following cope of the project:
- Site establishment and preliminaries
- Survey set-out and as-constructed documentation
- Bulk earthworks including stripping, cut to fill, import and compaction
- Building pad preparation to design levels
- Installation of sewer mains and manholes
- Property sewer connections and live connection to existing network
- Installation of water main infrastructure
- Property water connections and live connection to existing network
- Backfilling, reinstatement, and surface stabilisation
- Site clean-up and demobilisation
