Project Scope

Gulf Civil were engaged by MBS Water and the Burke Shire Council to construct a new maturation and facultative lagoon for use by the local community.

The works involved significant bulk earthworks as well as Gypsum treatment of all fill and liner materials.

The project scope of works includes the following activities:

  • Bulk Excavation for 2 x Sewer Treatment Ponds
  • Removal and treatment of unsuitable
  • Cut to Fill operations to ensure shape to survey and design tolerance
  • Gypsum Treatment for lining of walls
  • Pipework for interconnection between ponds and connection to pump station
  • Culvert install
  • Rock protection install

Project Summary

  • Project completed well ahead of program and on budget.
  • Excellent reviews from both Client and the local council for quality of work.
